Johnny Flay’s “Spring Brunch”

Submitted by faze on Sun, 05/19/2013 - 12:49

Good morning students,

I hope everyone is in good health and the semester is going well. Taking a quick glance of the class, I notice that some of you have been taking my lessons to heart and have been putting my recipes into action. On the other hand, there are still a few of you that look as lost as you did when we first started these culinary classes. I would like to say that there is no hope for the latter group but then again I truly believe that there is chance for everybody as long as they exert themselves. Let’s get it together folks! Pay attention, take good notes, and consume my latest culinary masterpiece titled, “Spring Brunch.”

The following ingredients are required for the first dish:

1. Snakes in a Blanket – Begin this dish by preheating the oven to 370 degrees F and lightly greasing a flat baking pan. Next, get some fresh FAZE United We Strike crewneck sweatshirt, a FAZE black 5-panel Strapback Cap and roll it together. Once those ingredients are tightly rolled together, lightly brush the top of it with the Nike Air Max 95 DYN FW in red and black. Place the prepared rolls in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes. When they turn a golden complexion, take them out of the oven and let them cool for 5 to 10 minutes. To complete this succulent dish, sprinkle in a pair of the Marauders Sunglasses in Red Snake by 9Five Eyewear and serve with a cold side of black cargo shorts. Now, sit back and enjoy!

The following ingredients are required for the second dish:

2. Slithering Broccoli and Cheddar Quiche – Are you starting to get the significance of these dishes my people? The answer better be an emphatic …YES! Ok, let’s begin. Start this dish by chopping up some fresh FAZE SF Snake tee in charcoal heather in a large bowl. Next, sprinkle in some Supra Assault Sneakers in tan leather over the ingredients in the bowl. Now, pour some FAZE 5-panel Strapback Cap in camo in a lightly oiled pie pan. Take the ingredients you have in the large bowl and pour them generously into the pie pan. Sprinkle some shredded Super Sunglasses Flat Top (vintage havana) on top. Place the dish in the oven at 375 degrees F for 30 to 40 minutes. When that time has elapsed and the dish has turned a golden brown complexion, take it out of the oven and let it sit for 10 minutes. You should notice the spectacular aroma. Lastly, serve this dish with a tall glass of original camo shorts and enjoy!

The following ingredients are required for the third and final dish:

3. Blueberry Brunch Cake – Now it’s time for a little something to satisfy that sweet tooth of yours! To start, mix in some of the FAZE Boxed Snake Hoodie in turquoise in a medium-sized baking pan. Next, throw in some freshly chopped New Balance 1600 Casual Shoes and sprinkle some grey FAZE Long Beanie on top. Before placing the baking pan in the oven, preheat your oven to 325 degrees F. Place the dish in the oven and let it cook for about 30 to 35 minutes. Once the time has elapsed and the dish has become moist, take it out of the oven and pour some fresh Vestal Metronome Silver Turquoise Watch and a pair of black and white camo shorts on top. Now that’s how we finish off our Spring brunch with a bang!

Johnny Flay’s “Christmas Dinner”

Submitted by faze on Tue, 12/25/2012 - 23:06

Merry Christmas students,

‘Tis the season for giving and giving thanks so Mr. Flay had to make sure he gave you some of that good nourishment this Christmas evening. So, in the words of Aubrey Drake Graham, “Thank me later.” I know on a holiday such as Christmas I should be taking the day off but there are many folks out there that are in dire need of my help. Consider this my contribution to the epidemic of style starvation. Well, that’s enough of me ranting about the significance of my culinary tips. Pay attention, take notes, and absorb my latest culinary wonder titled, “Christmas Dinner.”

The following ingredients are required for the first dish:

1. Navajo Fry Bread – Begin this dish by mixing up the FAZE Chief United Zip-up Hoodie in royal heather, the Adidas Gazelle Indoor shoes, and some flour in a large bowl. Next, heat up the caramel Obey Traveler Belt in a medium-sized frying pan at 365 degrees F. Once the ingredients in the pan reaches its highest temperature, place the mixed contains from the bowl in the pan. Oh my, the aroma from this dish is unbearable! Before the dish turns a gold brown complexion, toss in the Vans Windmere Beanie and a dash of salt and pepper for taste. To complete this Native American delicacy, sprinkle in a pair of khaki cargo pants. Now, sit back and enjoy your creation!

The following ingredients are required for the second dish:

2. Tomato Cucumber Salad with Mint – What’s a main course meal without a healthy side?? Don’t even think about answering that question… a delicious yet healthy side is mandatory my people! With that in mind, let’s get started. We’ll begin by chopping up some fresh FAZE Live Today tee in red heather in a large salad bowl. Next, toss in a dash of the Nike Blazer SB sneakers in the bowl. Make sure to mix the ingredients thoroughly. Now, pour on the DGK Classic Scout Belt and the BLVD Supply Pom Pom Beanie on top of the ingredients. Take a moment to notice the medley of colors that make up this dish. Lastly, serve this dish with a side of fresh black denim jeans and enjoy!!!

The following ingredients are required for the third and final dish:

3. White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake – I gave you main course and a succulent side so now it’s time for a holiday dessert! To begin, mix in some of the FAZE Machine Mentality Zip-up Hoodie in grey in a medium-sized baking pan. Next, sprinkle in the Solano Sneaker by Creative Recreation. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F. Before you place the baking pan in the oven, sprinkle in some of the Icon Web Belt by Obey. Let the dish cook for about 35 to 45 minutes. When your cooking timer sounds, take it out of the oven and pour some fresh Miami Heat Flat Brim Tweed Snapback Hat and a pair of dark blue denim jeans on top. Now that’s how you finish our Christmas session off strong!

All the above ingredients can be found at the following places:

*PLEASE NOTE – The staple ingredients for these dishes can now be found at your local grocer in the "Back to Basics" aisle! Pick up these staple ingredients today at the FAZE Apparel Store located at 3236 21st Street, San Francisco, CA.

I’m glad to see you all full and the style starvation epidemic has been averted… for now. Consider this my gift to you all. Happy Holidays! As always, if you have any recipes of your own, with FAZE as the staple ingredient, please feel free to submit them. I know your recipes won't rival mine but I'm still curious to see what knowledge you’ve retained from my classes. Until next time, stay FEARLESS and ZEALOUS my people!!!

Official Press Release for JZAC's Video "Make Believe 2"

Submitted by faze on Tue, 10/30/2012 - 20:21

New York, NY (October 29, 2012) – Hip-hop artist JZAC releases latest music video titled “Make Believe 2,” currently featured on Clip Cartel.  The song is a follow-up to his first hit, “Believe in Make Believe,” an anthem about pursuing one’s dreams.

JZAC’s video is an ode to his hometown of Derry, NH, a location dubbed “Space Town” because it is the birthplace of first American in space Alan Shepherd.

“Make Believe 2” begins with a young boy finding out that his hero Neil Armstrong has passed away. The boy then follows in the astronaut’s footsteps by riding his bike to an open field where he constructs his own cardboard rocket, and as a result his own dream of one day going to space.  The video also follows JZAC, who is wearing apparel by FAZE, as he diligently posts flyers for his current college tour.

“Make Believe 2,” can now be seen at: http://www.clipcartel.com/JZAC-Believe-In-Make-Believe-II-video.5172.html.

Musician Bio:

JZAC is a 21-year-old aspiring hip-hop artist from the state of New Hampshire. In a short span of time he has released two mix-tapes and done shows across the Northeast, including performances in NYC & Boston. Taking pride as a true lyricist, JZAC grew up listening to rappers like Nas, Jay-Z, Eminem, Lupe Fiasco, and Kanye West, which helped mold his style.
